The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a very relaxing area, just off the quaint college town as well as several good restaurants. The Hampton Inn Athens is a clean hotel with lovely views and an excellent design. Its location is just a short walk away from restaurants and other attractions, situated on a hill overlooking the quaint college town.

Wonderful stay! The bed was comfortable and the roll away bed for the kids was perfect. The breakfast had a good variety and tasty local fruit. The pool was warm and the hot tub was relaxing. The staff promptly resolved any issues we had. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time in the lobby area, it was really nice. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Shade on State St where they serve delicious drinks and cocktails. This hotel is an ideal choice for families. The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our stay.
